A Joyful Welcome Into The Family Of Faith
Baptism is one of the most sacred sacraments of the Episcopal Church — a celebration of new life and the beginning of a lifelong journey with Christ. Whether for an infant, child, or adult, baptism marks your belonging to the wider Christian community and to St. Mary's spiritual family.
What to Expect:
- Baptisms are typically held during Sunday worship services.
- Preparation with clergy ensures understanding and spiritual readiness.
- Godparents and sponsors are invited to play an active role in the service.
A Step of Faith
Confirmation
Confirmation is a time to publicly affirm a mature commitment to Christ and the Episcopal faith. There is no rush — youth are encouraged to participate when they feel ready.
Confirmation is offered every other year. Participants must have been baptized and feel called to confirm their faith within the Episcopal tradition.
